研究概述/Research Description
致力于研究糖脂代谢调控的生理学机制和慢性炎性疾病的病理学基础。利用动物模型,在生理学水平上探索营养失衡、内质网应激与代谢紊乱的机制关联,深入了解免疫炎性疾病发生发展的分子病理学基础,为肥胖、2型糖尿病、脂肪性肝炎及衰老相关慢性疾病的防治探寻新的干预靶标。
Our research aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms that link overnutrition, endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and metabolic/inflammatory disorders. Employing animal models, we attempt to dissect the physiological actions of the IRE1α arm of the unfolded protein response (UPR) in nutrient-sensing, metabolic control and immune homeostasis. Our studies will provide new insights into the pathogenic mechanisms underlying obesity, type 2 diabetes, NASH and other aging-related chronic inflammatory diseases.
