研究内容

从事极端环境微生物的特性研究。主要包括新微生物物种的分类鉴定、微生物与环境适应性和作用的研究以及极端环境内微生物群落结构及功能的研究。目前已经从新疆、西藏、南极和北极等环境中分离获得大量微生物资源，在原核微生物分类最权威杂志IJSEM上发表论文50余篇，获得国际承认的微生物命名新属10个，新种51个。
